Asian Rice
Tasty rice to serve as a side with Asian dishes.
Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1½ cups jasmine rice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ cup frozen peas
- 1 or green onions, sliced very thin
Preparation
Put the rice and chicken stock in a small pot and bring to a boil. Let simmer covered for 15-18 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed into the rice.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and mix well. The peas will thaw from the heat of the rice.
